Clean Water for Ingiito Kenya

Project Background:
The Ingiiito area is located in the Kajiado District of Kenya and is inhabited by the Maasai Community. The population in this area is about 5,000. They have few sources of clean water.

Project Values:
  1. To offer practical assistance in obtaining a sustainable supply of clean water for families.
  2. To show compassion and offer encouragement to the community.
Mission:

Improve the quality of life for Ingiito community by providing clean well water. Ongoing projects will include agricultural, nutritional, and basic health education. These will result in healthier people and provide the opportunity for social infrastructure such as a school, health center and home for abused girls.

Qualification:

Paul Delei is the founder and project leader of Clean Water for Ingiito. He is a Maasai born in the small town of Kiserian 41 years ago. He is uniquely qualified to lead this project because of his understanding of the Maasai culture and his longstanding passion for improving the quality of life of the Maasai community. He has taught in several schools in the Maasai community and has positive relationships with community leaders who are supportive of developing clean water sources for the people. Jan Busboom, Jeff Feuerstein, Bruce Heimbigner, Caleb Nindo, Steve Bravard serve as the Advisory Board.

Transportation and establishment of project leader in Ingiito $5,000
Salary for project leader $800/mo
Drilling and servicing first well $4,100
We are asking you to help support the drilling of this first well. Once the first well is successfully providing clean water it will open the door for drilling more wells.

Months 3-4 – Drill well
